Chris Menegay is a Principal Consultant for Notion Solutions. He has been helping clients develop business applications for over 10 years, most recently using Microsoft's .NET development platform. Chris places an emphasis on good design and architecture and has experience with both thick-client .NET applications as well as browser-based, ASP.NET applications. Recently, Chris has been working with Microsoft to develop training materials for Visual Studio Team System, and has been hired by Microsoft to teach Team System classes to customers around the world. Managing Projects using Visual Studio Team System
Ed and Ed will demonstrate the management of projects using Team Foundation Server and the corresponding Visual Studio Team System tools. Project managers typically use a wide range of tools such as Excel, Project, and SharePoint Portal/Services.
The discussion will include use of each of these tools and the other features that are integrated with the Visual Studio integrated development environment (IDE), Office, Windows SharePoint Services, and SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services.
They will also discuss issue specifically pertaining to architects, developers, testers, and project managers and will help attendees understand how to use this tightly integrated set of life-cycle development tools to help enable better planning, scheduling, communication, collaboration, reporting, and process control with development projects.
