Chris Patterson is a software architect for Per-Se Technologies at the Tulsa, OK office. His current responsibilities involve the design and development of real-time Internet applications using Web Services, XML, C#, ASP.NET, DHTML and JavaScript, in addition to supporting existing applications built with C++, COM, ATL and classic ASP. Chris has been building applications since 1989 using Microsoft tools and technologies.

Real-time interactive applications using Ajax and Atlas

Ajax is an enabling technology, enhancing the responsiveness of browser-based applications. This demo (with full source) will demonstrate how you can build responsive applications and client-side notifications from the server using Ajax and Atlas technologies. This session will also use MSMQ, SQL Server 2005, and Windows Server 2003 as part of the framework.

This session will go "under the hood" of the client-side Atlas code and demonstrate how to take advantage of this powerful framework for advanced JavaScript applications.
